Gender Senstization Cell

Gender Sensitization Cell was constituted on 15th April-2024 with the aim “Measures for Ensuring the Safety of Women and Programmes for Gender Sensitization” in Higher Educational Institutions. The Institute has constituted the Gender Sensitization Cell, consisting of the following members with immediate effect.

Dr. Tanuja Shriwastava, Campus Director BGGI, Sangrur be the Chairperson of the Gender Sensitization Cell.

ICC & Gender Sensitization Cell

In order to ensure the principle of gender equality is enshrined in the Indian Constitution., we strong believe that women and men have right to live as free and equal human beings and this equality should exist in all areas of life.
In view of above we here by constitute the following Internal Complaint Committee (ICC) under the provision of section 4 of sexual harassment of Women at workplace prevention, prohibition and redressal act 2013 and a Special Cell in our institution to deal with the issues of gender based violence and to conduct gender sensitization programme as follows:

3. Mr. Ankit Arora

The above committee should follow the objective and mechanism of Internal Complaint Committee (ICC). The committee should also make a annual report of the complaints and action taken by them to the under signed. All the activities conducted by the cell are directed towards successful execution of this goal.
